I made 18 faux stained glass windows for a large shade structure that was constructed in the desert for the Burning Man art festival. The structure was inspired by cathedral architecture styles and so we wanted to create a modern stained glass look that would be durable to survive the harsh climate of the Black Rock desert in Nevada, as well as the transporting to and from San Francisco. They were double printed on pieces of clear acrylic, 28 inches high, framed in CNC-cut wood, and set against a piece of plexiglass.
